Meet Karen

Karen has spent most of her life using her creative ability in many different fields. Starting with her first job as a sign designer and painter, and continuing her career as an advertising layout artist, and then flower shop designer, she has always worked where she could put her talent to work. However, her real love and now exclusive practice is that of a portrait artist. Born and raised in Wisconsin, Karen works out of her country home along the banks of the Black River. Her deep appreciation of the natural beauty that abounds in western Wisconsin and her love for all animals is a continuing influence in her creative pursuits.
